Somewhere under the sea there is always a man and there is always a city. This episode kicks off a semi-impromptu series on the show where me and a few guests get BioSHOOK. I'm talking BioShock with Rick Firestone of Pixel Project Radio.
Rick and I dive (pun VERY intented) into the world of Rapture, an underwater city away from the prying eyes of the world. We explore BioShock's themes, gameplay and so much more. Would you kindly follow along on our journey through Rapture?

Video Game history can be such a tough subject to really know where to start with. There is so much out there so how can somone who is interested know where to start? This week I am joined by game developer and author Michael Hart to talk about his recently release book "Secrets of Video Game Consoles" which I personally think is a good starting point to learn about game history. I spoke to Michael about why he wanted to write the book, what challenges he faced in researching it, his gaming memories and much more!

This week's episode is a discussion on a shorter game, a game that doesn't end? Or does it? I'm joined by Gerard Eady, who is an accomplished Irish archer and Twitch streamer, to discuss the game The Stanley Parable.
This is one of those tangent type of episodes and while we do discuss the game we also get sidetracked a few times and discuss RPGS, which types of games we like to play and we get a peak at Gerard's archery background.

As the game industry evolves sometimes it's easy to forget the stepping stones of progress. Sometimes a game comes out, does something revolutionary, but no one notices because something bigger comes out just a few years later and overshadows it.
On this episode I chatted with Matthew Smith, creator of the YouTube channel Computer Gaming Yesterday. We talk about his recently released documentary on the game "Dark Age of Camelot" and how it is one of the more influential MMORPG's that not a lot of people talk about anymore. This episode touches on a fascinating era of game history that you will not want to miss.

I'm not gonna beat around the bush. The episode that is covered for this month's Captain N episode is by far our favorite of season 2. Dexter Morrill is back and we have a ton of fun breaking down Captain N season 2 episode 9, Having a Ball. This episode is one of the most wild episode's we've ever seen on the show. Do you wanna see King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard as rockstars? Victorian era aristocrats? Tomatoes dancing with creepy legs? If you answered yes to any of these, this episode is for you.

Another month another Captain N episode. Dexter and I break down season 2 episode 8, The Feud of Faxanadu. In this month's episode we find the N Team at odds with each other for.... reasons? They end up assisting a nation of dwarves and elves who are at war with each other but are secretely being manipulated by the evil one. Will the N Team reconcile their differences in time to save everyone? Who cares! This episode was silly and we loved it.
